I don't want to sound paranoid, but i will. I may be buying a pistol off arms list. What's the safest way to go about this? I mean, he knows i'm gonna have cash, and I know he has a gun.

I have done this many times. I have done the meetings in a public parking lot. I am also carrying when I meet someone. Also ask for his full name and do a background check. Others might have other ideas but it is what I do. I have bought 5 guns off of there now.

I've only sold there, but we did the deal at gunworld without a hitch. If you're that worried bring someone with. Just don't be a retard and you'll be fine.

I can come sit in the parking lot a couple cars away just incase. lol

Yeah.... Nothing draws the attention away from a robbery like a skinny dude with facial hair spanking it in his car.

Carry a gun, and meet in a public place.
Common sense would say the same.

Yeah, that's the thing; I'm not the best at not being a retard. But I do have a beard, so, that makes life easier.

Ended up finding what I was looking for in stock new at Gun World for $50 less than this guy wanted for his used one, so I went that route. And that's good because the dickhead was supposed to call three hours ago and he ain't yet.

He was asking $430 which is a bit over retail, but it's a gift for the girlfriend and I haven't been able to find one; so I said fuck it and would pay up to get it. Gun world had it for $379, and that's a good price for the gun.

NEVER go by yourself! That's the best way to protect yourself. Get a couple of friends to go with you if you can. And carrying helps too.
