LED lighting strips locally?

Anyone know where to get LED lighting strips locally?

This is a school project we need some strips to help light up our building design model

I bought an eight in adhesive backed 12v strip with eight leds in it at the parts store (advanced I think) that you could cut into two four inch strips. Idk if that will help you, but it does make an awesome cargo lamp in my truck!

I really thought after reading the title of this thread you were going to put them on your ride. Thank God your not. Their just another stupid fab like those stick on port holes and lighted washer nozzles. If the car doesn't have led park lights from the factory then buy a car that does don't just stick them on it super tacky. Sorry for venting.

They make under-cabinet lighting that may server your purpose. Any home improvement store

i will also have to check out the under cabinet lighting as well. having a hard time getting a consistent lighting pattern with the cheap LED strips, but then again we are just playing around with how things are going together at this point.
