I know there are a few aquarium people on here. I am starting a new 20 gallon long freshwater tank and I just wanted to know if there was anybody in the West Allis area willing to donate some seeding material from their healthy tank to help mine cycle. Also, if anybody is interested, I have around 30 pounds of pool filter sand that I washed and dont need so it's free to anybody who needs it. It's the same sand as in the pic of my new tank below. Thanks guys

Thanks. I made it using Styrofoam and Quikrete.

You can buy 3D backgrounds. I have one and it looks awesome. Mine is made from a soft plastic material.

Yeah, it's safe. There are a ton of DIY on the Internet on how to make one and nobody has had a problem.

Lots of people use that same setup for their turtle tanks as well.

Thanks everybody. I am still looking for somebody with a established aquarium to "donate" some seeding material. Many people say not to trust those "bacteria in a bottle" or ready water. So, if you have a tank and about to change your filter or can spare a hand full of gravel, let me know. Thanks

I'll trade water for beer, lol. I'm not wiling to open the filter though. I have a 90g setup for a few years.
