I haven't had to get rid of a car shell in years. Basically its a body with no front clip or doors or interior and a frame on wheels.

Do junkyards still come and get them?

I don't have a trailer or I'd haul it somewhere. Need to get rid of it hopefully tomorrow, since I'm off.

Recommendations?

What kind of car I might be interested?

Whats left of a 64 442, no floors left in it either. Not enough left for a demo car even. LOL

if you call ahead up here, all the junk yards will come pick it up. I dont see it being much different down there.

Any local yard should be able to come pivk them up. Even check CL under automotive services they might pay a little more. I wouldn't expect much due to them being what sounds like a very stripped shell which doesn't weigh nothing.

Thanks Justin, by the time I got to reading it I had called someone else. Got $50, which I though was decent for basically a frame with most of a bare tub on it.

$50 is fair.
