Cliffords in Hales Corners. But the restaurant side, Not the cattlecar friday night only giant hall. You can actually get the same Fish fry 7 days a week All you can eat or just the dinner.

1) Amelias on Layton by the airport has great all you can eat crab on Saturdays. One of the better tasting places I've had in the milwaukee area for AYEC. I haven't made it for the fish fry yet
2) Charcoal Grill has a really decent fish fry. Perch is good
3) Mo's Irish Pub is so/so
4) Jeffs Restaurant on College just east of Howell has blue gill. One of the very few I've found. Very tasty. I'd go back.
5) I've heard Pistol Pete's in Brookfield is good
6) Erv's Mug in Oak Creek is rated one of the best time after time and I agree. Very good beer battered homemade cod. Many other selections too.
7) I've been wanting to try St Paul Fish Co and umami Moto in Milwaukee. I'm a seafood freak

How is the fish fry at seven seas?

I had steak and lobster and it was like something out of Kitchen Nightmares.

Painted Parrot and Lakefront Brewery are good.

Wegners is good, Red Mill was good, not sure if they are open anymore? Open Hearth, but it is grey hair club there. For the $ still can't beat cliffords, but no Potato pancakes.

Oh yes, Slim McGinns has great fish up on Lisbon in Brookfield.

Only time I go to Seven Seas is for the fish fry on Fridays. Get there at ~5 and be seated with the geriatrics. Shortly thereafter all the Delafieldians and Brookfieldites start showing up with their 15 brats.

I went to St Paul fish co. And had a perch fish fry and it was GREAT. They also have a $14 lobster dinner that looked mouth watering.

Uncle Mikes in Kenosha has a good one, they use a different craft beer in the batter every week. No pancakes though, but 85 different beers on tap makes up for that!

A little farther west from New Berlin but the Genesee Depot Cafe on Hy83 has a fantastic fish fry and great tasting potato pancakes.

Another vote for Lakefront Brewery - plus do the tour before hand and you'll come out with 6 or 7 beers/beer tokens before and during your meal. Best beer in Milwaukee IMHO.

I pretty much have some kind of Lakefront beer on tap in my basement at all times. I love their stuff. I have a half barrel of Riverwest Stein down there right now.

Has anyone had the fish fry at the Blue Heron supper club in Big Bend? I keep driving by it and it is always jammed on fridays. I might need to give it a try.

Out here in lake country...
Amalia's in Downtown Oconomowoc has a great fish fry (and it's AYCE), Spinnakers (on Lac La Belle) is one step better, however my favorite is Ron's Cozy Corner (off hwy P) in the Town of Oconomowoc.

Painted Parrot and Lakefront Brewery are good.

Cliffords is good and reasonably priced, and in the area.
Seven seas is awesome, their perch is incredible.
Painted Parrot is good too, never had LB.
MJ Stevens in Hartford is REALLY GOOD but a little expensive and not in the area.
Mineshaft in Hartford is also REALLY GOOD- and DIRT CHEAP- but be prepared to wait forever for a table.

Been there a few times AYCE with Fried Chicken, Fish Fry, and Baked Cod for around $14. Pretty good, but my favs are MAxi's Southern Comfort, and St. Francis Brewery.

Wegners is good, Magoos is a rare one I didn't really care for. I usually like their food (and prices) too. Wife and I just tried Steakhouse 100 this past weekend, really good. $9.95, perch and you get a nice portion plus up to two more pieces if you want. Breading was nice, not too thick and greasy, a little lighter. Would go back.
