Have an 04 MDX, I suspect eventually will need a new torque converter so might as well have the whole thing rebuilt. Any recommendations? I have read the dealer wants like $4500 +/- for a warrantied reman.:fire

TNS transmissions on HWY 100 just south of Forest Home. Ask for Tim, he is great to deal with!

Why do you think you need a TQ converter?

While at cruising speeds say @1000 rpm under no load I am getting a humming/buzzing noise, when increasing rpms just a little it goes away. I have read on acura forums this is a symptom of a bad tq converter.

third for TNS. My dad took his company truck in there. Was quoted for a new trans elsewhere, TNS discovered it was some type of Motor in the 4WD system, saved a ton of money. Truck was an 05ish Suburban.
Then sent my Grandparents 06 Impala SS there. Holz quoted approx $3400. TNS did the same work for approx $1500
