Just so you guys know who is tailgating you, I figured I'd post up my new DD. I had to drive to MI to pick up this 2011 RAM 1500. It has the options I wanted: 3.92 axle, LSD, Payload package, remote start, brake controller, sport trim and a few other options I didn't need like navi/hdd, power rear slider, auto dimming mirrors and auto 4x4. I got a smoking deal... Lenz truck would have been $4500 more.

Think I'll be adding a 2-3" body lift and some 35" tires once the tires need to be replaced.

Nice truck....how you like it so far? I've been curious how the coil-spring suspended ones ride/drive, since I was familiar w/ the older leaf spring ones.

I love love love it. It's a huge upgrade from my 97 Ranger 4.0L 4x4 entended cab. The ride of the ram is amazing. It's truely car like and handles the same. The ride is really close to the ride of my Audi TT and my wifes GTI. I've riden in every late model half ton, expect the nissan, and it's the best ride. Payload for my model is over 1600# and towing is 9950 #. Not too shabby for a 5.7L 4x4 half ton!

I like the storage everywhere and huge arm rest most. I would have chosen a F150 seccond, but only the 5.3 was in my budget and it didn't have the power of the hemi.

I do wish it had a teloscoping steering wheel, 6 speed trans and real towing mirrors though.
