Sat 4 1/2 hours for this lastnite. I figured with having the dragon etc... might as well
do the whole sleeve. More to come in a couple weeks.

I've always wished I could do something like that. Just frowned upon in my career, or would make me have to wear long sleeves ALL the time.

Nicely done man, looks great.

Man up Chris! It's the 21st century. Well done tats these days are considered art work like any other media!

I use to sell cars and had to wear long sleaves, so I always wore a suite.
People walked in the door and alot of the time walked straight to me. I
guess it was because I looked important and wasn't in a Polo like everyone else.

Thanks for the complimants

Funny that this is posted today, I just put down a deposit for my first new tattoo in 4 1/2 years today. Going on Tatuesday night after work to get my kids' names and birthdays across my chest. Nothing fancy like yours, but still meaningful enough. Looks good bro! Who did your ink?

Examples?

EDIT: From a professional standpoint they are frowned upon. I am sure others would chime in on this. I actually know 2 people that regret getting Tattos on there arms because they changed careers and it was frowned upon to have the Tattoos showing. One actually had one removed. I myself could care less. I have plenty of friends that have full sleeves and they are some of nicest people you could meet.

It's even working for my dad and his partners that would be the issue. He knows I have the one I do and he's fine with it, but there is something about showing up to a presentation for a project we want to bid on to build, and having them be nuns, hospital administration types, ceo's, etc... that are not our generation. While we normally wear suits during that it shouldn't be an issue, however when it comes time for everything else, we are usually in polo's, golfing at some of the places I do its frowned upon, hell even the one I have on my back when I'm at the pool I get weird looks by the old people. Doesn't bother me, but any more tats and I'd probably be looked at even worse. Just how those old people are.

While all of this is off topic, I'll still say I REALLY do like those tats. If I could look like Colin Kaepernick tatoo-wise, I mose definitely would

I work in corporate, however I admit in my field tattoos are not frowned upon unless they are racist, derogatory, etc...

I see your point. The cool thing is, our grandchildren won't have that issue.

Minus the pic you posted how many men will ever get to see her tats live?

Not many I am sure.

Military will/can go after you for getting them. "Its damage to government property". But that depends on the CO.

I am waiting for the day the fad to end so I can start investing in tattoo removal.....

I've heard the removal is twice as painful as the tat was to get!

Well, I'd say most of our chances of getting to see those are as good as owning a Ferrari...so I'll stand by my metaphor :)

I've heard the same thing about the military and tat's, but at the same time I know plenty of soldiers and especially marines and sailors, many of which who are pretty heavily tattooed.

Well played sir.

As long as the tats dont affect the appreance of the "class A" I think your good to go.

But when i served one guy in our unit got a tat that gave him a Article 15. I think it broke the neck line. Now it wouldnt cause a court marshal but still went on his record.

That is even gradually changing. They are starting to realize that a lot of them are military or unit related and a big part of the team building stuff that they want everyone to do. Last I heard as long as it's not racist or derogatory and its not from the neck up your fine.

When I was in the Navy there was talk about not allowing them aymore.
Now most branches depending on the CO limit the location, size, and subject
matter...

Got this done last night.

Our 1SG told us last week that coming up soon the SMA is going to make soldiers with tattoos forward of the wrist and on the neck and above get them removed or get out of the army. Women with tattoos on their legs larger than their hand will be given the same option. His ultimate goal will be any tattoos visible in summer PT uniforms. If that happens...looks like I'll be getting out and using my GI Bill ;)
