Howdy Folks,
Nothings really changed with the car, but thought i'd show some updated pics with the Plasti-crap removed from the wheels. The noob did a pretty shitty job and i think he used one can for all 4 wheels. I think it looks much better with out it. Two of the wheels are kind of ugly, one being worse then the other, but oh well. I'll find some different rims or have these blasted and powder coated. Anyone still doing powder coating on the board? 17" wheels. Looking for gunmetal.

Before:

The grille was also starting to chip and peel from the noob paint job. So i Plast-dipped that with about 8 coats:

Shitty picture but you get the point here. Replaced the map and dome lamps with some LED's:

Ordered smoked front and rear side markers as well as LED bulbs, side markers have arrived, but awaiting the LED's still since they are on back order.

That's it for now, stay tuned.

Thanks guys!

Thinking between MB Battles or Rota Boosts in 18" for wheels.... Gunmetal or Bronze. What do you guys think?

Bronze Rota Slipstreams, and I think a set of those euro/jap/amber fog lenses I've seen before would look good.

What happened to the Focus? I remember the problems you had with the cylinder head.

The car certainly looks better...i too vote for bronze b/w the choices, though I'm a fan of natural color wheels myself. How does it drive for being as high mileage?

The Focus was in an accident and was totaled. Been saying i wanted a new vehicle. didn't want it to happen this way though. Focus also had 1 payment left on it. Ah well, least im still without a car payment.

Thanks. I'm between bronze and gunmetal if i do, do anything. The car drives like it has 30k miles on it. Going to do a trans filter/flush/fill this weekend and change the rear diff fluid.

Pretty sure these have amber fogs from the factory.

Power wise turbo is the way to go. There's not a lot of guys getting decent HP out of a NA VVTI 2JZ. Maybe a high compression stroker kit but at that point your half the HP and double the cost of a turbo kit. Just slap a nice header on and a 75 shot and call it a day. Nice IS btw.

Some pics of the car cleaned up:

I did some other little items to the car over the weekend:

Nokya DRL/High bulbs
5k parking light LEDs
Smoked sidemarker lenses with LEDs on all 4 corners
Ordered a set of MotoGFX "Lexus" brake caliper decals - Still have to install

Otherwise besides finishing LEDs everywhere else, i am kind of running out of the "little" things to do.
