I have a 5.3 on a stand in my garage.. 228/222 .588/.581 114.5 COMP cam in it, 853 heads milled .028, 160K on the block, 12K on the heads. PAC 1218 springs, stock head gaskets, ARP head bolts and crank bolt. I had the harness and computer, but sold them.

Pic posted. I have 2 more water pumps.. and I also forgot, LS1 lifters with 70k, LS2 oil pump with 71k.

Asking 700. I also have most of the parts strewn behind it, including a 67K 4l60e. If there are parts you don't want, I can definitely cut a deal. Pushrods in it are 7.375.

Block is a 2003, basically everything else is a 99, return style fuel rail.

:/ prolly pass on that.... i dont need that cam, i dont want those heads... id perfer a complet motor just so i have all the parts... and $700 IMO is pretty high without a harness or anything. if i needed the motor tomorrow then maybe but i dont need a motor untill spring. thanks for the response

Well I'll be honest heres what I have in it:
$300 - block with cracked castech heads (plus accessories)
$200 - Cam (used)
$27 - Crank Bolt (new)
$150 - ARP Head bolts (new)
$250 - Springs and pushrods (new)
$150 - Heads + milling (used)

If I was asking $700 for a stock engine I'd agree its a high price.. Tell me what to take off and I can work out a deal accordingly. I believe I still have the factory LS1 valve springs I could put back on it too, but no pushrods.

Free "complete 4.8 with harness/ecm/fuse block, fly bye wire" with purchase of complete drag car that already has motor!:

http://www.brewcitymuscle.com/forum/showthread.php?40978-Toyota-Starlet-drag-car&highlight=starlet

Added bonus? The complete drag car already has 100pph inj and chassis will accept LS motor as well!
May have a complete 4l80 I can throw in as well as a huge T-4 turbo to feed the 4.8.
Act now and receive a chromoly cart with new 6.5 motor not even installed, and a can of beer.

i was hoping for a complete stock 5.3... i would only really be intrested in the short block then, but then id need a bunch of misc. bolts and such... just not worth it IMO. thanks for offering

would you sell the 4.8 setup separete? For you probably, know it would get done soon!

4.8 is way better starting point than 5.3, sure you have read this:
http://www.hotrod.com/techarticles/hrdp_1109_stock_gm_ls_engine_big_bang_theory/

I'll send you some pics or come bye this weekend, complete less cam/crank sensor, probably have spares here.
118k mile delivery truck exploded trans, I maintained fleet. Will need the little cover 4l80's eat when they blow.
