Has anyone had good luck programming a key before? It is for a 2006 corrolla. I purchased two blanks to have cut just wondering if i should attempt to program them myself or take it in. Any suggestions are appreciated.

thanks

I programmed an 03 Corolla key fob with instructions from http://www.carandtruckremotes.com/. The key itself for an 03 didn't need programming.

depending on the type you may have to have the dealer program them. I know gm fobs used to have to be programed by a tech 2 gm scanner. I used to do these at saturn. I'm not sure about the yota tho

Those links are for programming a keyless entry remote, not a key. Coop needs to get in here and give the final word. My money is on a dealer only thing.
