Glad to see Jen in the driver's seat! (And Bri as the passenger, of course.)

Don't know why but I like those wheels, always did.

A lot of people think those are the ugliest of the modern Mustangs, but for whatever reason I like those better than the '99-04s.

This thing sucks gas like Fing CRAZY. My 05 gets WAY better mileage and its supercharged with cams, lol. The vert is fun though, I have never owned one before.

Keep your foot out of it?

I do, there's no reason to put my foot in it, it's not fast. I think my Taurus could beat it, I plan on testing that theory soon.

If it's an automatic, it's the slowest V8 mustang made in the '90s...

It's a stick, but I would think that honor would go to the 1st 4.6's (non PI heads) wouldn't it?

That's what I thought, the auto, vert, 96-98 2V's were dog slow... Like 17.1's ish

Are both cars stock?

Are both cars stock? the 5.0 had full exhaust and the 4.6 had an o/r mid pipe. other than that both were stock at the time.

and actually, my brothers 98 GT (completely stock coupe, 5spd) trounces my 5.0. both cars have 2.73 gearing as well

Auto, vert, 2.73's..........horrible combo. I hated that on my 93 GT vert. Even with an e cam, 1.7 rockers, headers, full exhaust, and a shift kit, the best that car could manage was a 15.0

The aftermarket has definitely improved the ford autos overs the past several years for both strength and performance. My first 91 aod was terrible. Now I have one with some light mods and it is worlds better.
