My Neon broke and I'm supposed to be completely moved out by Thursday. I'm trying to fix it...but I'm not sure I can. Is anyone able to do me a huge favor and tow my car from Fort Knox, KY to South Milwaukee? I understand it's not "cheap" but hoping I can get a deal and find a lifesaver.....thanks

Given the timing you're going to want to check into a transport company pretty quickly. They are notorious for dragging their feet. I would march down that path unless you get lucky on here. Tow the car to a drop off area for someone like dependable auto shippers and have them transport it to the nearest "hub." Last time I used them it was in IL. But you will have a lot easier time finding someone to tow it from IL to here than KY to here.

Is it the mileage they charge in addition that is killing you?

$450 doesn't seem too bad especially when some people here have gotten shipping quotes approaching the 1k mark.

I ended up getting someone to tow it for $440 on uship. It is the gas, tolls, and the having to deal with driving the truck while towing the car that is killing me. lol. Thanks all!

U ship.....some of the things those guys do on that show is funny, like cutting things in half so it will fit. Did you get that girl to do the shipping, she's cute.
