Cruise Control Doesn't Work

1995 Mustang GT
I usually don't drive my car on long trips where
cruise control is used. A few weeks ago my wife
and I took a road trip and the Cruise wouldn't work.
The last tie I used it was in May on a trip from
Colombia, GA to New Orleans, LA and it worked
fine. The only thing that has changed since then is my
Odometer stopped working but the Speedometer is
still operational..
Any Ideas???

I do believe it is vacuum operated(could be wrong) so I would start checking vacuum lines. The system in positioned in I think the drivers wheel well. Sorry for not being more sure of this. lol
