Hello all just moved here from NY. Ill be stationed here for some time (active Army). Im a Mustang guy, Ive built a few Foxbodys (all complete restos). My wife and I also have a G8 GT. All our toys are far from stock. So any good shows, cruises, street fun, OR track days around here?? Also, any Mustang or open car clubs worth checking out? Well thx for any info and have a great day...

There are always car shows everywhere on the weekends. Some food joints have them during weekdays.

Great Lakes Dragaway (GLD) is where the track action is:

If he's active Army then it can't be an AGR job. I'd be willing to guess recruiter if so welcome to the Milwaukee Recruiting Battalion. (bites tongue)

What's the engine specs? Why the decision to go carbed?

1: It's a theory of mine that if Ford didn't swiss cheese the shit out of their engine bays foxes wouldn't need subframe connectors.

2; I don't know how I feel about that color, but any mustang that isn't cowl hooded and sitting on draglites is a-ok in my book.

3: you throw the word "restored" a lot for a guy with a heavily modified car. I'll be keeping an eye on you.

4: Welcome!

If my car was all bought which it wasn't. And I had not done any work myself on it I still would be thankfull my friends kept me and my craftsman away from it. I don't know if I would be bragging if I did all the work on mine and it looked like it was infested by metal termites. Again welcome to the site.

Welcome to the forum. You asked about cruise nights? I DJ two of them. Thursday nights at Jetz convenience center in Muskego and River City Lanes in Waterford on Saturday evening. There are a couple of web sites you can look at to find shows and cruise nights.
http://www.wisconsinhotrodradio.com/
http://www.wednesdaynightclassics.com/cgi-bin/Calcium38.pl/wnccalendar
http://www.wiscollectorcar.com/car-shows/car-show-calendar.html
I hope you find these sufficient for your needs. At my shows, I do the usual style of music but I do throw in stuff from different genre. Oldies, but I will do C&W, Disco, Rockabilly, good ol' 70s rock and roll and other strange items I find in the archives. About the River City Lanes cruise, it's bit different from the others because we offer both outside food service and inside dining as well with a full menu of tasty treats. We also serve adult beverages if you are into that sort of thing. The pizza ain't too bad neither. BTW, I like the color of your Mustang.
