Yes. They were banned and recalled. I heard police can seize them too, but I'm not sure if thats true. I don't have anything that can tow it ilegally right now or I would buy it.

Hey, it has a big skull and cross bones on it so that you know it's going to kill you. lol.

It does actually look really fun, right up to the point where it hurts a lot, lol.

When i live on okauchee lake one of the neighbors had one. I think they sold it when one of there kids was launched into the next county. hahaha.. It was awesome to see that thing get way the hell up in the air. They also had an air chair.. that sucker was awesome.

In all fairness, I think it was designed to remain in the water 95% of the time and just get 3 or so feet of air on a big wave. To get the tube 10-20 feet in the air requires towing it farily fast (40 MPH). Just like anything else people don't use as intended, someone gets hurt.

That thing looks nuts!

I can't imagine falling 20' at a speed of 40mph into water, that would hurt so freaking bad. I agree with BoosTT though, huge air wasn't likely to be the original intent.

wow I used to LOVE things like that when we had a cottage in Wautoma. I had a variety of similar things but we never had a powerful boat to tow the really cool stuff.
If someone buys it, I'll let them chuck me as high in the air on the beatch as they want.

would be fun to try.....once.... whoever is selling it better be careful though it is against federal law to sell a recalled product

So lets go way out side of intended use. I bet that thing would be awesome at the next snow drags, Hook it up to the back of the truck with a tow strap, throw on a snow mobile helmet and give it hell, lol.

Still have ours packed away in the garage. They are fun but you are at the mercy of the boat driver / gusts of wind. Not real controllable and scary as hell when a gust of wind takes you up. Then comes the nose dive down and face plant into the tube.
