Admittedly I have neglected the wheels on my car for far too long, I thought I would try and clean them up. I have the Mother's Power Cone, I have this Mother's Metal Polish and some of the Mother's Billet stuff but even after using both I still have these spots, how can I get rid of them? Is there an easy trick for this?

Thanks for any help and tips--Dan

You may have to steel wool them to get that out, and then polish em back up. hard to tell in the pics.

try this. wear a latex glove, smear a little bit of the Mothers billet polish on a spot with your fingers then rub back/forth and in circles in a small sections(no larger than 3-4") using only 2 fingers or your thumb with some decent pressure. as the polish breaks down(gets black/greasy) lighten up the pressure then wipe off. after the entire wheel is done, wash it again then, wax them when you are completely done. Depending on how bad the etching is, you may need more aggressive polishing via a rotary with wool pads.
