For those of you that knew Brownie, she died this afternoon after getting hit by a car. Bailey our lab, knows how to push the door open and they both got out to go for a "fun run". Sadly, we werent quick enough to catch brownie and the asshat that was doing 65 in a 35 never saw her.

Awwww No good. May Brownie enjoy a mountain of Beggin strips in Dog Heaven :D

On a side note...who doesnt see a dog in the road? I swerve for mice and moles for f*** sake. The average driver is such a joke

Sorry for your loss, that is one of my biggest fears lately. My two Husky pups have been escaping the yard constantly, I finally put up electric dog collars/fence and that seems to be working, but they can push open the storm/screen door if they want to and noone is paying attention.

Thanks everyone. Its been a rough week for the kids and our other dog Bailey. We arent sure if we should look for another dog or not as Bailey is very lonely right now. She wouldnt poop for 3 days and kept looking all over the house and the yard for Brownie and just seems so sad.

IIRC Brownie met me when I dropped off the Focus. Brownie name fit her for such a sweet dog. Its very sad.

I see a pound visit in your future.
