My step-father just bought a new `12 Toyota Highlander. I offered to find him a good set of heavy duty (winter) floor mats. Functionality and real world performance are more important than cost. Please post up if you have any feedback on factory or aftermarket versions. Thanks! :thumbsup

Weathertech liners. I have them in my 4 Runner and they are great. Much better than their regular all weather mats.

I have a set of weathertechs in my truck as well (originally purchased for the GTO prior to having a winter beater).

Really no reason to consider anything else.

I'll be the oddball here and say I like the OEM Toyota all weather mats. I had a set in my Tacoma and they fit and looked great. A must when they sell a pickup with light gray interior :rolf. I had a stain in the carpeted floor mats 2 days after I bought the truck. I have the OEM Subaru mats in the STi and they work well also.

I used to buy those cheapy thick rubber matts for every car I bought and never regretted buying them. I haven't been able to find those same ones for almost 2 years now though, so my guess is they stopped making them. They were 10 bucks a piece for fronts and 5 each for rears
