I have a 2006 Mustang GT and the fuel pressure gauge does not work anymore. It rattles and is very annoying. I tried to get it off in the car by the gauge but its on there so tight. I dont know if I will replace it with a new one or not yet. Money is kind of tight so for now I want to just cap it off. Can I cap it off by where the line is coming off the fuel rail? Not sure what the best way to do this is.

So this is a aftermarket gauge? I would never run any mechincal fuel or oil gauge in my cars EVER! There's always a chance for a leak inside the car and with all of the wiring under the dash your just asking for trouble. Get a electronic fuel pressure gauge.

I ended up disconnecting it right off the regulator.

You had a mechanical fuel pressure gauge in your car? :stare

My uncle did everything to the car. I was thinking the same thing when I looked at it. I never really paid attention that it was a mechanical gauge. Its disconnected now.
