Doesn't turn over. Offers? Carb is probably $90. Not sure how much in scrap I could get. Was used in a plow truck for a few years then it locked up somehow. I got it this way.

Check to see if the starter is engaged. It could be stuck which would prevent it from turning over.

Youre right. Starter is bad. It clicks and only slightly moves. I tried turning over the crank by hand and that was impossible so I assumed the worst.

New starter, pulled and the plugs and cranked out all the water in the cylinders and it started right up. Barely runs even at wot though. Might need new plugs, timing adjustment, and carb tweaking. Ill probably need someone to stop over that knows what theyre doing!

Look for an Hei setup.. Fuck adjusting the point distributor!

Well it runs much better now that the fuel line isn't hooked up to the brake booster port on the carb!
