As it says, looking for something in the $200-600 range. No rear engines or piles of crap please. Let me know if you have one or if your neighbor or parents have one that they don't use or are selling.

Thanks for your time,

Jason

Depending on what you consider crap lol I have one that might interest you. Its a pretty decent, 16.5hp nriggs or kohler I forget which, and like 42" cut or so. It has new battery last year, runs great and cuts good. it is however an mtd so its definitely a cheaper mower. Its also not hydrostatic but agaun works fine. I got it from Memphis on here like 3 years ago and its been good to me. I picked up a smaller simplicity hydrostatic recently and have a small yard so need the manueverability and was gonna sell the mtd. $150 would take it.

Do you have any pics? By crap, I mean like it only has 3 tires or deck is rusted gone or it's 43 years old, lol.

[QUOTE=73MACH;736690]\ No rear engines

Well, I would consider with the zero turns. Just assumed they would be wayyyy out of the price range.

What model is it? Do you know what year? Anything that needs to be addressed or replaced? If it's easier, can you text me a pic? 920-362-4057 Just so I have an idea of what its like. The deck and motor size are pretty much what I'm looking for, and as long as it runs good and won't die on my wife if she's cutting, it doesn't really matter on the brand.

Racing stickers are a plus!! lol

MTD makes 50+% of all mowers sold in North America, like chevy or dodge they make all kinds of models, love my 18hp/ 42" bagger machine!

I will shoot a pic today on the phone. I agree, nothing wrong with it and nothing wrong with MTD, like I said Ive used it for years lol. It just isnt a "tracto" like a Deere, Simplicity, Case, whatever and it isnt hydrostatic transmission - it is a basic mower. It does have a 16.5 hp name brand engine as well, its either briggs or kohler. I have a city lot lol I dont need a rider anyways really, and the MTD is definitely to big and not maneuverable enough to make any sense for my yard. I picked it up from Memphis years ago cause I needed a mower and he had it for sale at the time.
