I was recently diagnoses with a hernia. Anyone have hernia surgery and if so how was your Dr and how long was your recovery time. I want to have this taken care of ASAP Its rather uncomfortable and I need to get back to lifting.

Dr. Fred Steele was my Dad's partner for several years, have heard plenty of good things about him from 3rd parties also. My Dad would have been THE guy to hook you up, unfortunately he passed in 2008....not from a hernia ;-)

Had a double when I was a little kid. I remember being slow, laying down, and taking it easy for a week or two. Pain wasnt bad.

Well in a lil more then 24 hours I'll either be in recovery or the surgeon nicked my femoral artery and I bled out. Either way wish me luck in this life or the after.
