Classic car vehicle history report

I was just doing to vin decoding today and I was wondering if it was possible to get a vehicle history report for a classic car. I would like to see where the car has all been titled in the past. Anyone have any leads on this?

Not really, thats the main reason that people fret over documentation. I have about 20yrs+ of reciepts for my truck, on top of the obsessive (on-line log, hand written maint journal, all reciepts and various spreadsheets of info). Not as necessary for something like I have, since its hot rodded, but any GOOD classic should have docs. Not usually the case if your buying a fixer or barn find.
