I thought I had read that the stock numbers were at 15 psi on a blower capable of a "reliable" 18.

It wouldn't surprise me if it went into the upper 9's or bottom 10's with a driver, traction and a bit more boost. Heck, a kickass launch with slicks/skinnies would probably catch a low 10.
"Reliable" is just a minor detail. I would squeeze as much boost out of the stock charger until it dies then upgrade it.

Either way, it looks like a great value on an excellent chassis!

I highly doubt 9s with bolt ons. I don't think this is going to be like the 03 Cobras and the earlier GT500s. This car is way more maxed out. I bet with an offroad pipe, intake, some tires, good driver AND some nice gas for some timing tweaks we'll see them in the 9s. Honestly if you think of it, this car is more of a bolt on, pulley GT500 rather than a whole new car. Think of the 2012 Super Snake, which is said to be a 10 second car, mid 10 second car with the right driver and tires, and that's 800 horsepower.

There is no way without race gas this car is getting meaningfully into the 9s. Maybe 9.90 with the right air, at the right track at the perfect elevation with a perfect driver. MAAAYBE. But IDK. Seems like a stretch.

Thing is buck nasty without a doubt....from the factory. I agree, with mods will be brutal.
Matter of fact there was a red GT500 at the track on Saturday running 10.60s with very little done to it.
