Sad to see him go, he transended just the Fords he will be remembered for. Omni GLHS's that run 10's are a site to see!

RIP Mr. Shelby...wow, never even heard that he was ill. Sad day for all car enthusiast...the fact he could make fwd mopars into what they were is a testament to how good he was :)

I actually had been curious to see how he aged and lived given that he had a heart transplant some 20+ years ago.

Now I'm extra motivated to finish the CSX now...just need to scrap up a front and rear skirt and get 'em painted.

RIP MR. Shelby! So happy he ended his career at Ford, where he belonged! This brings even more meaning to the 2013 GT 500!

Gotta be honest between Carroll and jack I'm not sure who was more fun to cart around EAA,beside being a very nice person and loving to hang with the Mustang Peeps he also created the Carroll Shelby Foundation for kids to help with needed transplants as he himself was a heart transplant recipient. RIP
Glad to have met you as many times as I did thank you. I feel very lucky.
