I have black chrome powder, looks decent. Have a pic or two I think, lilevo.com and click on powdercoating on top.

Kinda hard to tell from the pics, I know black chrome can be tricky. I'd probably have to see a sample in person.

Went through this bender a while ago. Powder coating looks marginal at best. You need it dipped, and there are only a couple places that do it and they want you to bring in a bunch of items. And if you do dip it, it can't be something that is a frequently moving part or something that is exposed to any kind of wear and tear since it doesn't hold up as well as chrome dips and what not. Black Chrome is really finicky. If you can do without it, you'll probably be better off in the long run.

Was going to pay up to have my drag wheels done, but the guy who does it said it wouldn't hold up.

I'm planing on having my rims done, theres a place in California that has an exchange program I'll probably go with them.
