Just got my flyer for the Fox Lake Firefighter show, one of my favorties every year for sure. Far enough away to get out of the Milwaukee area influence, but close enough to not suck up a whole day. Not this year though, they are moving to a 1992 and earlier only format. To whomever the new person is that is running it, I fart in your general direction. Add a single class for "modern muscle" if you aren't fond of the newer stuff, you don't have to even break us all apart! Bring us back in!!!!

well that sucks, side note I got my flyer for the Dominic's show coming up in July. I heard last years was smaller than prev years but hopefully I can actually make any show this year.

Interested in hearing how they are doing this with the now larger church/school.

Sucks about the Fox Lake show... Have an import and tell me how you like how car show rules are.

My company put in the curb there last summer, quite a bit more parking...

can't think of too much made between 80 and 92 that I even want to see. I've seen a Grand National or two before :goof

Pretty sure the GN is the ONLY car in that year range I would even entertain purchasing... the organizer must have a fox body fettish.

Sounds like a great show and if you own a 93 foxbody , tell them it is a 93.

I think 92 is a strange year to pick, obviously some influence there. so no new camaro's, but a dude with a 305tpi firebird can show up.....awesome.

I don't agree with the new restriction but easily see their point of view. My guess for the 1992 cutoff is 20 years old or older. The same as the Automotion show in the Dells. As the years tick by I see many shows going this route.

Yes, and Automation has been that way FOREVER, as have several other car shows. But to just kick out a loyal following (I mean there's been LOTS of modern muscle representation at the former Fox Lake shows) after accepting them for years is dodo kaka.

Yoo that is because they were adding on to school, major construction going on last year. plus it was near 100*

Popular shows do it because of space. The only other option is to double the entrance fee....and that ain't gonna happen. I'm familiar with organizing shows. Our show has a 25 year cut off because we are basically a street rod club that allows for only 65 and earlier cars to be recognized if a member. Newer car owners are Associate Members like I am. We have a rolling 25 year cut off because we recognize the fact that some of those are getting scarce.
