Do we have a auto painter on the forums? Mix paint, spray booth, custom stuff, etc?

I did a search, Holeshot is the mix paint guy to go to for paint? But do you have the all around job guy?

Thanks,

Josh

There are 2 on the forums that do good work, Keith aka GRNDNL at Car Craft and Jim aka Dr Ford at Authentic Auto.

What kind of custom stuff are you interested in doing? authentic comes highly recommended, and I also know that Crash (Crash Customs) does some really nice work if your looking for the "wild" stuff. Not sure if he is on here or not, but his shop was off hwy100, he used to drive a sick bagged caddy around. p0rk knows him as well.

I just found out that my hood is junk. After hitting a deer, there is paint that is cracked in one area and some fiberglass damage on the passenger side bottom corner. Plus I hate hood pins. I want to buy a new hood and fenders and have them blended in. Along with some scratches and minor stuff around the body. The guy I was going to (not going to name-names) over charged me or a shit paint job for one fender. I want a professional job done right.

The last time I was at Jim's shop he showed me a Prowler that he airbrushed with a skull design. It was awesome!

Just a public thank you to Jim and his guys at Authentic, just had the front bumper cover, lower spoiler, replacement fender extension (passenger side was warped) and air box lid (will be done soon, not on yet) painted recently, came back for the final wet-sanding today. Looks great!

No before pictures, wasn't terrible just a few larger paint chips on the passenger side middle/lower and the lower spoiler had some scuffs/chips.

I already recommended Jim/Dr Ford/Authentic once in this thread, but since then they redid the faschia on my Viper, did repairs to some cracks, tons of stone chips, and filled and reinforced the lower lip and it looks perfect, color matches perfect, stripes redone perfect. They also did the door on my Stealth, a really wierd color pearl yellow and the car has some previous repainted parts as well and they again matched it damn near perfect I didnt even think it possible really. Very reasonable prices, and a forum sponser and active in the local car scene I really cant recommend them enough.

They just redid the rear bumper cover on my Expedition. Pearl White is a B!+ch to match and it looked great. Thanks again.
