I'm pretty sure this will be my next fire arm purchase. Just not sure if I want the 40 or the 9

Any one have any feedback ?

You want the 40. Unless you're buying it for speed shooting I can't see a reason to choose 9mm over .40

Ammo cost would be a factor in which gun to purchase.
If you plan on shooting it often then 9mm is cheaper. If you just want it for protection or wow factor then the .40 would be the gun to go with.

I guess $5 difference on a box of 50, you'd have to shoot a lot more than I do to consider it, but valid point.

This comes as a kit. Two frames and one slide and trigger assembly. You can also change caliber. From 9 mm to 40 S.W. to 357 SIG.

I've found that with the cheaper rounds, they tend to "gum" up the gun which leads to non-fires. I don't know about you, but the extra money I spend on a quality box of rounds is worth when it's needed. Even if I am just shooting targets. The last thing you should be thinking about while getting to know your gun is if it is going to shoot or not. Ammo as a whole is way overpriced in my opinion.

Ive heard good and bad about it. 600 bucks ish for 2 sigs is an awesome concept.

I think the 40 is the only logical choice.. but then again i reload. Recoil wise there isn't a huge difference.

My S&W40 will eat as much garbage as I can feed it. I have an LEO buddy who carry's a .357 SIG, he keeps trying to talk me into one, I'm just having a hard time justifying the cost of the pistol and ammo.

What kind of pistol are you seeing this happen with?

My .40 cal glock will shoot anything you put through it also, buy my .380S&W seems to only like the winchester whitebox. I've got close to 1200 rounds through it and I've never misfired a whitebox round, however, I've used about 150-200 rounds of the cheapies and have had 8 misfires and the entire muzzle of the gun is full of residue ,alot worse than the W.B., after 15 or so rounds. I guess I don't exactly know if the residue or the quality of the round itself is the problem but in my eyes, 8 out of 200 isn't good enough.

http://sigsauer.com/upFiles/catalog/product/P250-2SUM-detail-Hero.jpgI feel equally protected with my .40 or 9mm.
With modern ammo there isn't that big a difference. Variety is nice, get both, then when one caliber is in short supply you can find the other. :)
