TBSS Photo Shoot

i picked up some new flash gear a few weeks back and have been dyin to get out and start learning how to use it all. i shot my daily ride last weekend, and while the pics were lit and in focus i just didnt like them much. well i headed out with a buddy last night to give it another go with his truck and get me some more practice, and well here are the results. C&C welcome, lets hear what you think.

i used 3 580s and a 430 to do this.

No bad. Shooting cars with flash is challenging as to not ruin the shot with refections of the flair or harsh shadows. FWIW, I like the edited shot even if there are some harsh shadows on the bumper. Time to get some REALLY big softboxes!! :)

I must say the smaller wheels w/ bigger tires is different and I like it! I bet it rides alot better too.

The edit looks much better since it takes the yellow out of the ambient. I would have also used a front center fill to soften the hard shadows.

pics and truck looks awesome...i like the wheel/tire combo too it sets you that much apart from the rest of the tbss's around here

as for mods, not sure on everything but as of these pics it was cam, fast intake, trans/converter, AWD converted to 2wd, LS7 TB, fast motorsports tuned.
