any recommendations for garage builders in the area. I saw Jd Griffiths mentioned a few times in the search but those posts were almost 4 years old. I was wondering if there was anyone new that is recommended or any of them to stay away from. thanks

If you want the job done 1000% correct and made to last 1000 years I can give you my uncle/cousin's number. This is the only way they will build something and will not bother anything less. However, I can promise you the quote will not be the cheapest. You get what you pay for.....

^ Yes ^

Not the cheapest but if you were to get lets say 4 quotes they would be the middle man, my cousin actually just finished doing a pella window job for a BCM member and funny enough a personal customer of mine where I work. Small world....

They are a small outfit but have a large customer base with referrals at hand...

Yes, JD Griffiths - last spring they built a one car addition onto my existing attached 2 car garage...
They did a great job. Highly recommended.

I would love to give a quote. I have been doing this line of work for 18 years. All of my work has been word of mouth.

If any questions please call. 414-840-0798

They have you pick every material so they must have chose the cheaper stuff to keep price down. You pick everything from plywood or OSB, the thickness ect, siding, trusses or rafters, shingles ect.

thanks for the recommendations and numbers. I forwarded them to my dad as he is the one building the garage.

I can see my G-parents going with the cheapest materials possible but the build quality is equally as bad.
