What is the vehicle you owned that you least liked? You must have owned it for atleast 1 month to count.

1986 Madza 626. Not bad, but nothing special thats for sure.

hrrmmmm....not sure. Every car I've purchased served it's purpose well, since I knew what I wanted when I got it. None of the cars I had were perfect, but some definitely fell well short of reliable...but even then some of these were understandable. Even the least favorite of the cars I owned (and I measure this by how happy I was when I sold it), My Daytona ShelbyZ, I still had lots of fond memories of the car...and the only reason I tired of the car so much was that the AC broke, and had no money to fix it, no cruise control and I frequently took long trips, and it had a crappy stereo to boot...the other hassle was that in it's modified state, I broke a fair share of half-shafts. But I still miss that car sometimes...

My 2002 Taurus.

Besides the fact that it was the most boring vehicle in the world to drive, the trans failed at less than 80k miles. I got so pissed off I traded it in as soon as that happened.

My Jetta was cursed. Not the mechanics of the car necessarily but it was just a tub of bad luck.

That's lame. My '01 Taurus was a great "first" vehicle. Had it for 7 years and would have kept it, but I got out voted and traded it in for my truck.

1980 Omni. The lower control arm mount rotted out. It nearly killed me driving it one night before I knew there was a problem, it decided to swerve into the oncoming lane, just after a pickup went by. Nearly pooped myself.

1981 Lincoln Towncar Brown int./ext., rusted to shit, had an 8 track player andI cracked the block and intake manifold all at once... Thank god I got rid of it, I couldn't pick up chicks for the life of me. This is when I was 16.

1996 Monte Carlo with the 3.4 X motor. I was young and stupid, figured that in the 2 years I owned it (bought used for $10k in 2001) that between the $200/month payment and all the repairs I put into it (parts only, I did the labor) I could have been making a $465/month payment and driving something much nicer.

Trans Blew
Wheel Bearings

AIR Pump x 2

I think it was one of those bad luck scenarios. Me and that car just didn't get along apparently lol

86 cutlass with the v6 looked nice but leaked everywhere burned everything and was slower than a Taurus, i was actually jealous of my fiends 87 with a 307

I mean, the thing is, I owned plenty of horrid...but fun vehicles. First car was a 72 polara the guy sold for scrap value (45 bucks then). Worse was the 69 or 70 bonneville w/ high compression 455...car actually was very cool though it rode like a big gm...floaty beyond belief, and lost it's engine within 200 miles (it had sat for over 15 years b/f purchasing it...) and because of the non-stock single exhaust, was purty slow for what it should have been. I mean, these were rusted, clapped out cars, mice infested, etc...but I still remember them fondly since for the 145 bucks we spent on each combined, they still were fun and served their purpose well...

1970 Ford XL500, bought it for $200 (20+ years ago) in decent shape. Who in there right mind would design a 390ci V-8 powerd car with manual steering and brakes, steered like a tank and took both feet to slow it down. You would try and cruise cool until a corner came up and you needed both arms for a gentle turn, pile of crap. Think it had like 70k miles and PO replaced everything before me, had a 58 3/4 ton Chevy 4x4 that would ride nicer.

Yeah and but the thing never went faster than 25 mph. That car is for sale.

Biggest POS my 2007 Pontiac G6 that POS spent more time in the shop then in the parking lot of my apartment complex.

my Land Rover Discovery.

It was a FUN vehicle. just expensive as hell for the small repairs like the coils and fuel pump. Paid less than 4g's for it for a less than 10y/o vehicle through ebay. Got way more out of it then I put into it, but it still was just slow and expensive

and honestly, my '11 STI. I think this is the least favorite new car i've owned(and thats comparing it to an '06 AWD Equinox, and the '08 Imp SS). I don't feel its any faster than a regular wrx, its rough riding, the trans/clutch setup sucks ass, stereo sucks. For the price of these things, you can get much nicer vehicles. Just one of those had to have it, made the decision, etc.. Luckily i'm not going to lose too much on it.

Second worst, only because it didn't try to kill me, 79 LeBaron. Ate its own spider gears at 80K, must have been all the power from the awesome 318 lean burn engine. POS.

Worst one for me was my 1973 Thunder chicken. It had a burnt out 429, the secondaries on the carb refused to open. On top of that it was a three speed auto with second blown out. It went from first to third. That thing was ready slower than a bottle of molasses on a cold winter day but with the above mentioned issues just made it even worse. If I had it floored getting on the freeway on ramp it would seriously take about 45 seconds to a minute for it to get up to around 60 mph. On top of everything else it got around 7 miles to the gallon, probably more along the lines of 5 miles a gallon. It really was spacious though. Also it ranks up there where I felt pretty safe in it if I were going to get in to a accident because the damn thing was built like a damn tank.

I ended up selling it to a fella that just wanted the 429 for a project of his. He got a bonus when he bought it, that bonus was a brown paper bag full of condoms that my girl friend forgot in there from planned parent hood. lol I had this car when I was about 19-20 years old.

My worst has to be the 6.5 blazer. Inside of 5K miles I put in an alternator, blew the rear end, starter, and then finally blew the head gasket. I can't complain though, it had over 200K on it, I got it cheap, and after trading it off I still have a functioning truck with less than 3K invested in it (outside of mods lol)

I suppose my 1991 isuzu is close. Spun a rod bearing in it, put in a junk yard engine, and lost the oil pump within 1K miles... both cams fused to the head.

Worst vehicle I've seen was my parents 96 Astro. They had a $1000+ repair annually. Cats one year, the torsion bars dropped out of it once... stupid all wheel drive system was a complete waste.

Chris hates his 11 STi and so far I absolutely love my 5-door! I will give you that its harsh riding but the brakes are badass, the steering and handling is crazy responsive. They are expensive cars but I loved my 03 so that could by why I wanted this car so bad. I'm just mad I missed out on your winter wheel/tire setup! LOL

99 OBS Silverado, got it from a bud that needed cash.

Awesome looking truck with a new shift kitted tranny

Rebuilt whole front end including wheel bearings.

Motor and rear end all went out in a 4 month span....I loved the look of the truck but dumped it on CL for a loss cause it burned me so damn bad.

89 chevy celebrity.

1 of the subframe bushings was completely missing (rotted away). the 2.8l was running on 4 cyl (could not for the life of me figure out why... everything else was working). the gas tank would leak severly if you filled it up past half tank. there would be a 5 second delay from pressing the gas till the car would actually start moving. bought the car for $50... gave it away for free. the only good thing abou that car was that the heat worked and it had brand new tires on it.

Where do I begin. 1968 Chevelle Nomad station wagon. Yes, it was called a Nomad, but not the cool kind. This Nomad had radio delete, bench seats of sticky vinyl and rubber floor carpeting. 307 V8, the worst engine Chevy made. Burned oil like a California wild fire. Black/blue smoke came out of the exhaust. Blew so much smoke that you couldn't see who was behind you. I could no longer afford the two quarts of Purple Martin oil a day that car ate so I asked for drain oil from local service stations. ( I was poor) One good story about that car, the Nazis were marching downtown and I was driving by. I slipped it into neutral and revved the piss out of the engine filling the area with dark clouds of oily smoke. Them goons were pissed and the cops across the street were laughing their butts off.
