You enter numbers into a machine. The machine outputs a higher number than entered. Figure out what number you need to input to have the machine output the desired number (left column)

Left column is input and end number desired. Right column is machine output

10,000 - 10,060
30,000 - 30,156
100,000 - 100,505

The numbers seem to be close to the equation y=1.005*x+9.0896, but not exact.

The multiplier decreases very slightly as the numbers get larger. Is there even a solution for this kind of thing?

Written as a macro you could modify the equation.

Based off of the three points and an excel plot, these equations are the closest. That or the maybe an equation needs more numbers after the decimal point. What is this for?

Linear Trendline
y=1.005*x+9.0896
10,000 10059.0896
30,000 30159.0896
100,000 100509.0896

y = 1.0096x^0.9996
10,000 10058.87339
30,000 30163.36213
100,000 100496.1309

Polynomial Trendline
y = .000000002(x^2)+1.0047x+12.619
10,000 10059.819
30,000 30155.419
