NO Idea. Races were cancelled last year cause of the rain but by about 3pm it cleared up really nice so we went to Edge o dells.

Ok guys went to go wash and fill up the monte today, and get in it have no gears trans didnt do squat. Once it warmed up then it worked fine checked fluid all is red and where it needs to be. Trans has been known when hot to have issues with reverse unless u give it a slight rev to drop in. Was goin to take to automation but am kinda leary now about cruising 2hrs on freeway with a trans that might be iffy. Once its warm shifts firm and slams gears and works perfect but have never taken it on a 2hr cruise before. What do u guys think take it or leave it and take the TL-S this yr and monte next?? Dont have a trans or the funds/time to swap it right now either.

When is the majority of people driving up? Where are the majority of people staying? I haven't gotten a hotel room yet (if I even can get one now) I might end up sleeping in the car. Anyone have a spare room, floor, barn, manger?

This is my first time to Automotion so I'm not sure what to expect.
My car is sort of an outcast. Rotary guys tolerate it but make me stay 10 paces behind. Chevy guys think it's cool but too much JDM to really hang with them. Ford guys consider it a distant cousin 10 times removed that bred with a Chevy. Mopar guys just shake their heads and say, "It ain't got a Hemi."

Coop yes its always had the reverse issue just never noticed fwd being out. Started car ran for about 30sec put in rev nothing shifted to fwd nothing, let idle for about another 1:30 put back in fwd it moved. Then tried reverse and it was there drove to gas station put in 70bux (this aint gonna be a cheap run lol) drove past Korndoggs house then back home. On the way grabbed a first gear tromp past a slow ass truck shifted pulled hard and no slipping. The trans has never slipped, but the first to second shift has always been very violent like whiplash type shift but 2/3 is mild. Has a stock torque convertor as far as I know and its a th350. Just dont want to get stranded on the side of the road and have to wait for AAA to tow my shit home. Then grab the TL-S and fly back up to have a drunk weekend with friends.

sounds like the tv cable is not set right ? or its sticking ? if it is something like that you should get it fixed before it takes out the trans

i bet its not but dont know how to set it either. I should also say that it shift hard only under wide open throttle if u are normal driving it shift a little stiff but nothing major. So u think it'll be ok to make the 2hr trip to the dells??

I'm driving up Friday starting around 4:30PM from Kilpatricks Engines in Waukesha. I'll be leaving with Shane and a couple others. We plan on maintaining 65MPH or less due to our pathetically geared differentials. If anyone else wants to caravan with us you're welcome to tag along.

Thanks but I just found a place. It's right next door to Edge-O-Dells Bar where the Saturday night shindigs are happening. It's a small hole in the wall place but it has a bed and roof. LOL
Actually it's a nice place. My wife stayed there once when we went family camping a couple years ago. That's her idea of roughing it. LOL
I was going to bring a tent and sleeping bag. There's a lot of camping places around with openings so I wasn't too worried. Hell, I used to take off on motorcycle trips when I was younger and sleep under trees when I got tired.

If you're running an old school block then look for LT1 T56. It should bolt to your bell housing. You might need to clearance your tunnel though because the trans is wider.

I forgot you were auto trans. I believe you can use this set-up here with the LT1 T-56. It has the external clutch fork.

You can setup your car either with a manual clutch pedal or with a configuration like a Willwood 1" hydraulic clutch master with a slave unit. (this is what I'm running in my RX7)
The LT1 T56 is less expensive than the LS series. The LS series T56 (more expensive) typically run a 7/8 Willwood type of hydraulic clutch master with an internal clutch slave inside the bell housing. You would need a special bell housing to mount it to your Gen1 SBC (if that's what you're running).

I currently have a WC-T5 in my RX7 and will be doing the LT1 T56 route when this trans bites the dust (not sure why it hasn't yet. LOL)
