That's the first R8 I've seen with that bumper.

Nice garages remind me of this thread.

How in the hell could a dealer selling a car of that caliber even think about letting a car like that leave their facility with those types of paint imperfections??

Though true, who the hell would accept delivery of a car like that looking like ass?

Those are freaking awsome! When I sold cars even used PT Cruisers had to be waxed nicely before they could be taken for delivery otherwise I sent them back to have them recleaned.

MOST Lambos and Ferraris have major defects from the factory. So much so that there are factory authorized detailers that are commisioned by some dealerships to fix the defects for a hefty price. A dealership prep/wax job for customer delivery versus a real detailers correction are TOTALLY different! Waxing a car doesnt remove the swirls, hazing, scratches or buffer trails.

This car came "waxed/prepped" from a local Lexus dealership.

There were a few shows on Nat Geo for car factories and in them they show the process of building these cars. It showed multiple white gloved inspections so I find it weird that they would have imperfections.

Those are really beautiful cars, especially the Lambo. I love the new body lines.
