Just bought a tig welder and want to have some metal to practice on. If anyone has some scrap stainless or aluminum either small flat sections or tubing laying around I'd like to get some to get some seat time in. Would also take some clean mild steel stuff. Free is best but could toss some cash around depending on ammount of stuff.

That's not too far at all. Where in Slinger are you located? Could head out there this weekend or possibly after work tomorrow or friday, whatever works best for you

I have a tunnel from a 98 cat snowmobile sitting in my storage unit in Juneau. Remember me next time I need some aluminum welded and its yours

I can do that, just gotta practice enough so that the welding makes it better than when it came in, not worse lol. When I went to school for welding the whole class swamped the tig welders so I got stuck doing the structural steel stuff with flux core. I'll keep you in mind when you need it though.

I work in Hustisford, we can get together later in the day tomorrow so you can grab it. Unless you dont have a way to get it home, I could throw it in back of my truck

Sorry I didnt get back to you, went home sick at around 2:15 and wasn't at work at all on friday, that's where I mostly check the forums and what not. Sometime this next week would work out excellent.
