Just looking for something to put in the truck... something with a dash pod mount would be great, otherwise I'll figure it out. I'm sure theres someplace I could drill a hole. Something with broken illumination would be perfect, seeing as I probably won't wire it in anyway.

Let me know.

I'm just lookin for something cheap that works, not too picky so long as its mechanical and I don't have to screw with wiring anything up. I'm mostly just curious about the health of the turbo in my 6.5, bastards are so stinkin quiet!

American Science and Surplus still around? I have bought 5" precision gauges for like 12$.
They are so big you can drill and backlight in 15 seconds, I'll dig up a pic at home they are precision.

Graingers will have vac/ boost gauges for $7 on shelf, small enough you could wedge under wiper blade for the day.

I was planning on just putting it in permanently, but thanks for the suggestion.

oooo SRT4 will make it teh fast!

Honestly if someone just wants to drop one in the mail I'll toss you 20 bucks or whatever you think is fair. I'm not picky

Only downside to the SRT-4 gauges is that the stock one is known to be a little inaccurate (typically optimistic). If you are using it just to look for changes then its fine, but if you are looking for a more accurate absolute number I would look into a more standard gauge.

hmm... a real number would be preferred.

Got it. thanks devin!

Hacked off the mounting studs so they fit in the mounting cup... this should be perfect. Do you want me to send you the .85 to cover the rest of the shipping? lol

Looks like autometer uses a ferule system that would be a pain in the ass to replicate. I'll make it work, most likely jury-rigged. lol

which part do you need? You can get the replacement stuff without going to autometer usually.

Parts that will end up costing much more money than the gauge did. lol I'm probably going to figure out how to make it work with some hose, a zip tie, and plenty of mis-application of force.
