What can I do with this bad boy!! Finally ditched AT&T and now have service with Verizon. Decided on the Bionic (was a pretty easy decision).

Agreed ! How ever I am waiting for the release of ICS before I root. Koush is working on a no root tether app. I would hit droid forums.net droidlife.com and xda-developers.com Tons of great rooting info from both sites. I rooted my Original droid with info from them.

Honestly rooting is VERY simple. Just do your reading over on XDA if you ever decide to do it. The biggest problem with rooting bricks, is people not following directions step by step, or not getting updated drivers and such.
