I'm looking for a local place that I can source some LSx engines from....I'm looking for 4.8, 5.3, and 5.7s. Any recommendations on places to contact?
Note: I am looking for used engines and they can be high mileage as long as the bottom ends/blocks are in ok shape and can be machined.

There was a cheap 5.3 on CL for quite a while.

Rhine Auto in Plymouth. Got my 6L from there. They pull and plug the engines and shelf them so its not rusted yard stuff. Nice people, came with a 30-60 day parts warranty on the motor.

I have a used LS2 coming out of my GTO in a few weeks, engine was perfect I just needed a forged motor only reason it is coming out.

Just curious, why didn't you just forge the LS2? Seems like the cheaper route.
Sorry to thread jack.

I'd love an LS2, but that's prolly pricier than I am looking to spend...just looking for a few spare blocks to rebuild right now.

Cheaper to build a new motor and the sell the old long block.
