This is a really sad day for me; my 92 SHO is for sale. It is pretty heavily modified and very well taken care off. Car has the options of full black leather, keyless entry, and dual airbags. I have also added a factory tape/CD player combo.

The car is green/black with 121k on it as of right now. I bought the car with 111k about 3 months ago (I put on 10k in the first two months of me owning the car, so it’s mainly highway miles.) Interior is in excellent shape (no rips/bolster wear.) Exterior is also in good shape (rust free only normal wear and tear.)

Here are most of the major modifications on the car (I'm sure I forgot a few):

-Konis/Intrax
-Full Length Subframe Connectors
-Aluminum Subframe Bushings
-Nook H-Brace
-IPT 28mm Rear Sway Bar with poly bushings and heavy duty endlinks
-Ted B. LPM
-80 MAF
-Stage 1 cams
-Hacked Performance Plus Y-pipe leading to True Duals with Summit Turbo Mufflers
-SHO Shop Underdrive Pulleys
-Quaife LSD
-Fidanza 9lb Flywheel
-Drain Plug Installed in Transmission for Easy Future Changes
-96 Brake Upgrade
-Jose SHOrt Shifter
-SHO-Nut Reinforced Motor Mounts
-Silverstar Headlights
-PIAA foglights
-Yamaha Badges
-Indiglo Dash Gauges
-95 EATC
-Pioneer Head Unit with Sony Xplod 6x9's in the rear and Infiniti Gold 5x7's up front
-Triple Gauge Pod on the A pillar with Volts, Water Temperature, and Oil Pressure
-Tinted Windows 35% Front, 20% Rear
-Southbend TZ Clutch less than 1k ago
-Transmission was refresh less than 1k ago
-Full 60k (upper and lower) and more including valve lash including waterpump, CPS, and almost all other sensors were done at 86k.
-New Tires 6k ago (I have a brand new matching one incase anything happens to any of the tires)
-Alignment less than 1k ago (drilled out spot welds and installed rear adjustment kit)
-Front Brakes less than 6k ago
-Passenger Half shaft 2k ago
-ALL receipts since DAY 1 for the car

Within the last two months the following has been done:

Clutch was replaced with a Southbend TZ unit. The TZ is stronger clutch made of Kevlar and has a beefed up pressure plate as well. It can handle 40% more power than stock. The Fidanza flywheel was also resurfaced. A ceramic TOB and improved sleeve from SHO-NUT was installed at this time also. Trans was pulled apart, inspected, and the blocking rings were switched around at the same time.

The front endlinks have been replaced with Moog greaseable ones. The rear sway bar bushings were replaced with Energy Suspension bushings. The front crank seal was replaced due to a minor oil leak. New PIAA foglights have been installed in the front. They are 100% white and brighter than all get out. They have a lifetime warranty on them. Silverstars were installed recently also.

I regapped the A/C compressor because the A/C was cutting out after having it on for 15-20 minutes, it works perfectly now. I removed a breather that the previous owner connected to the PCV system also. New battery terminals were installed along with a front left wheel bearing also. I also installed a Nook H-brace in the rear.

Just for reference in the last two months alone I put over $2,000 into this car fixing every little problem that exists! Performance Plus inspected the car and every issue they found was corrected (front crank seal, rear sway bar bushings, front endlinks.)

The car was also professionally detailed and buffed out. Looks amazing!

More Information:

I love the SHO to death and don’t really want to sell it, but with me going back to school it’s not practical, I need something I won’t feel bad about driving year round. If I had room to store it, I would not being selling the car; this is the SHO I’ve always wanted. Everything works perfectly, the car’s handling is amazing, and it’s much faster than a stock SHO.

Quite a few members have seen and ridden in the car as I am quite active in the SHO community, they can attest to what I am saying.

I’m asking $6,000/OBO, might seem high but I have receipts for over $15,000 in the last two years ALONE (I know money into a car means nothing when it comes time to resell, but I think it’s a valid point to bring up.) I really want this car to go to a SHO enthusiast, someone that will appreciate and take care of the car as well as I did.

I am also including all V6 SHO parts I own along with the sale. I have lots of stuff (stock pulleys, stock sway bars, extra Autometer gauges, stock MAF, stock clutch with 7k on it, brand new TOB, etc.)

I am willing to negotiate a bit, by demodding the car. I’m in no rush to sell it and the car will be continuously maintained and improved as long as I own it.

Feel free to ask any questions, this is by far the nicest SHO I've owned (I've had 7.)

My computer crashed last week, so these are the only pictures I have left since they were online already, I will post interior shots ASAP!

Here are also some of the comments left by SHOforum members in my for sale ad over there:

Fellow SHO enthusiasts,

I'm on my 3rd SHO and will attest to everything Jason has done to this car. I bought my 95ATX from him for one simple reason....he takes meticulous care of everything he owns, period! I hate to see him selling this car, but he will stay connected with his 98 and that is a good feeling. If you have any questions on how well this car has been taken care of, please contact Mike at 630-689-3121.

This car is in excellent shape given the miles. I would have to say it is comparable to my 80k 93. Interior is also in awesome shape, and probably just as soft as my seats as well. Jason has a passion for SHO's, regardless if they're falling apart (like his red 92) or nicely modded.

I have seen this car in person and been in the passenger seat, you want a meticulous SHO, this is THEE car. You don't wanna worry about your typical breaking SHO, well like said everythings been maintained and replaced, this is a real nice car. Sad that Jason has to sell it

Yeah I know the guy.... If there are any probs w/the radar detector... blame me, but really, the car gets up and goes, and it really gives ya the feel of rwd car around corners....

Guys I worked on this car. Underneath looks just as good as the outside. It is in great condition. He has taken care of everything I know that was wrong with it. I hope it go to a good home.

The cams listed in the mod list were installed this weekend along with the drainplug in the transmission for easy and regular fluid changes. Royal Purple Fluid was used in the transmission, replacing the 2 month old Mobil 1.

After seeing the inside of the engine, inside of the trans, and having it inspected by Performance Plus and other SHO mechanics recently, plus the fact it hauled me over 13 hours this weekend without a hitch at 29mpg with the A/C on at almost all times, it's gonna be REAL hard to get rid of it....
