Credit card extended warranties

Has anyone used an extended warranty benefit that comes with some credit cards? If so, was it on a cheaper item or
something like a more expense piece of electronics?

I'm interested on how this is going to go. I have a feeling this is going to be a pain but maybe I'm not giving them enough credit.

I have used mine before on a laptop. Took a long time, had to submit receipts to a few different places including the store of purchase, the credit card company, and some other place that handled the actual warranty claim. In the end I got a store credit for the amount of a replacement laptop since mine could not be fixed. I got original replacement cost of mine which was far more than what a similar model was going for at the time, so it worked out in my favor. I went through Landmark C.U. credit card service for mine.
