Anyone gonna try to score one? I bet you gotta start camping out tonight to get one.

They were camping out yesterday for it. They showed them on the news.

Wow that's ridiculous.....I could see if it's $50 or something...but for $200 you won't catch me waiting for more than 2-3 hours somewhere.

At 20hrs waiting, you're billing yourself as worth $10 an hour. That makes me LOL. Go work even a half day at a decent job and pay the difference for a regular price. Penny wise and pound foolish in my book.

Especially when its a crappy TV. It rated a 2.6 out of 5 and has poor reviews at other sites as well. Some people just go for how big it is and don't care about the quality of the picture.

Yeah, I already bought a 55" LG for <1000. I was happy. I guess the Samsung is going for <1100 which I would have preferred, but not enough to try to change the order.

seemed like they had a decent number of each tv as well. Oh well as usual, i'll just do my black friday shopping online.

ahhahahah

Camping for anything is retarded but can be fun with the right people, I did it a few years back for some laptops. Nowadays you can get great deals online without camping or leaving the house for that matter, hell these tv's on sale can be found via www.slickdeals.net pretty regularly.

We bought a Samsung 55" LED for a few bucks more than the black friday price...and I went and picked it up and didn't have to stand outside for anything. BF is fun like Pork mentioned as long as you have a group of people to stay entertained. Seeing all the freaks out there pushing and shoving is fun also. We'll be out tomorrow grabbing a few bargains but nothing that requires standing in line. Most of the stores have their BF prices up today already anyways online :rolf

600hz is hilarious. Seeing as your eye only functions at 32hz

I got what I needed from Best Buy Monday as a Premier Silver member. It sucked though as their website seized up for an hour and a half. Ended up getting the crap in my cart on my PC and completing the order on the mobile site. Most of it arrived via UPS yesterday and the rest is coming over the next two weeks.

This Black Friday is the worst I've ever seen as far as deals go. The prices are good but what you get isn't. I think retailers focused too much on price this year.

Lol, I almost made a mistake last year of purchasing a best buy black Friday tv because I am an insomniac and actually took the time to read reviews. Thankfully I did as the "special" tv last year had worse than a 1:4 failure ratio within the first 90 days. Rofl! Even better the tv only had one hdmi and a poor contrast ratio and low frequency Hz rate. All of these places sell a "special" tv specifically made and sold for these days. The tvs are complete junk and are throwaway units that barely last more than a few months. Go spend a few bucks more and purchase a better quality used tv or new tv.

I ended up getting a 42" Aquos and a decent 47" Bravia instead of the Panasonic that was the "special" last year for nearly the same price by Craigslist and a friend who upgraded.

Do your research.

No doubt they are probably piles of shit. But for a man cave or bedroom tv i'm sure they're fine. It is a $200 flat panel.

Aaand that's why they make a couple million of these televisions is the fact that guys are still dumb enough to waste $200 on one for themselves as a disposable tv. From a business standpoint, it is a no brainer to continue making Shit televisions because it is insanely profitable to put old parts off the shelf in a shiny plastic box and then sell your new parts on the shelf for a premium price. People still want 20# of Shit in a 5# sack even if it still is Shit in a sack. It still sounds like a deal even though it is literally Shit in a sack, and millions of people will stand in line and camp outside waiting for it.

It is absolutely hilarious to watch.

I would rather have a good ole Vizio from Sams Club than a black Friday special.

I bet the t.v. has no reputable specs whatsoever, probably low herts, 720hd if it even has hd. Black Friday is the biggest scam of the holiday season. Every now and then a genuine deal arises.

its a 1080p 60hz tv. pretty damn good price for a 42" tv. as stated before, for a bedroom or basement its an awesome tv. actually its a pretty good tv for anywhere. I have a 60hz samsung 1080p lcd and have never had an issue with it. Never had a jumping issue or whatever else people claim to see when they say that 120hz is better than 60. Plus is a name brand, not some off brand 1 off tv, this is an item they carry all the time for 499, not something made just for this day. All that being said, no way in Hell would I camp out for a chance to get one, just not worth the time. Never been able to black friday shop anyway, I always work that day. Have worked that day for the last 16 years.

Booyah, right there... And if waitign in line still nets you an overall better deal than working to pay the difference, maybe you should really step back and think if you can AFFORD even a $200 tv in the first place.
