heater core questions

So if the heater core hoses are not the same temp is that a concern? I flushed out the heater core and it didn't seem blocked afterward. Now the upper hose is hot while the lower hose is much cooler. This is with the heater turned on. Is this ok?

They should be close to the same temp. What kind of vehicle?

Sounds like a Blockage ....... Unless its throwing out nice heat....

it is an 06 grand prix. I will give it a run into town tomorow to see if it really did work, but now at least there is heat. But for how long we'll see.

Could be a blocked heater or if there's a heater control valve. I'm not sure if your car has one but if it does its a possible problem.
