2003 Crew Cab S10 Chevy with the ZR5 package. It's Dark Blue with the dark cloth interior. It is 4X4, auto trans with the 4.3L V6 Engine It currently has 162,000 miles. Stock it has power windows, locks, mirrors, overhead console (compass, temp, homelink, maplights) and the black roof rack, step bars and nerf bars, drop in bedliner. It has cold AC and an indash 6 disc CD changer. Sliding rear window. All back windows are factory dark tint. Has a factory trailer hitch. Stock G80 locking rear differential.
The truck has several upgrades
- 2" Body Lift
- Rear Add a Leaf and front Tbar crank.
- Custom Black Rock 16" x 7" Wheels with 265/75/R16 (thats a 32" tall tire) Yokohama ATS. This is a fairly agressive offroad tire yet it is still quiet on the highway. These Wheels and tires alone cost almost $1000 when I put them on last year.
- Fullsize spare on matching wheel.
- Custom tuned with HPT to correct speedo for larger tires and increase HP / MPG (it gets about 16-18 city and 18-20 highway depending on how fast you like to drive)
- K&N Drop in filter and Throttle body blade mod.
- Flush mount toneau cover.
- Black/Clear front lights.
- 4 wheel disc brakes with Drilled/Slotted rotors and Ceramic Pads on all 4 corners, calipers are painted red.
- Brand new Moog Heavy Duty Ball joints, and idler arm. (tierod ends, pitman arm were replaced at 120k)
- Brand new front hubs/bearings
- 4 Bilstein Heavy Duty Shocks
- It has the stock exhaust on it now but I have a brand new Dual Exhaust cat back system that I could include
This Truck kicks ass in the snow. with the big tires and locking rear diff I rarely ever had to use the 4x4 unless it was really deep out. It's very dependable and I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere. Last month I took it down to St. Louis for the weekend and back.
This was my daily driver until I picked up something that gets better milage. I have had this truck for about 4 years now and I put on about 20-25k miles a year, mostly highway driving to and from work.
There's a pic in the CL add here, I'll get some better ones up soon.
