I been doing a lot of reading online and soon to be receiving a couple self defense books. I remember from my Utah class the instructor mention that it isn't a bad idea to find a defense attorney to call upon if the what if situation happens. How does anyone on this site has someone in mind? Also I went on USCCA.com and was reading some things on that site and it had something call defense shield which is an insurance to cover legal fees if the what if happens. Does anyone has some kind of insurance like that right
now or plan on getting something?

I've seen a lot of complaints about USCCA and their hard sell of their insurance on various websites. One guy said they wouldn't tell him who the lawyers are that they are associated with, and another said they seemed to have a lot of loopholes to find way to get out of paying.

You could inquire with your insurance agent to see if they have an umbrella to cover acts of self defense.
