There are more vehicles out there, of course...Tahoe's, Explorers, Durango's all have police packages too. I just limited the data to the "typical" cars we're likely to see on the roads, plus the others weren't put through many of the same test.

So if you want the fastest cop car available.... Prince has put together the list for you :gooflol...well, just think 3-4 years from now, you may well be able to buy a car that's unavailable to the public in the Caprice (basically a G8 lengthened 3" in the rear footwell to get a barrier back there), or for fairly inexpensively, Taurus SHO's to make a nice sleeper, etc.

Yeah but, I don't buy new nor old cop cars. :) Such cars would be much too practical compared to my normal choice of impractical car. I'm sure the blues brothers will be all over it though...

With our respective builds, I think we could pull of the blues bro's act pretty well...imagine cruising hwy 100 dressed in black suits/hats/dark sunglasses :goof

Which is, near as I can tell, safely faster than an eco cruze w/ manual trans:

0-100: 24.5 seconds.

Likewise, I haven't seen any troopers using v6 chargers, lol...

Ahh, makes more sense now ;) . For those just tuning in, I was reading it doing 0-100 in 14.01 :D , I'm not senile or that sarcastic (ok, I am).

Hemi chargers come in single exhaust variants like the blue/gray ones the troopers use? Is this the same 3.5 that was in '10 base challengers for example or that all new 3.6 mill? I'm not say my Eco is fast by any means lol, it was for comparison which isn't too far off.

That and I'm sure everyone around you drives the speed limit. Lol
