You may have already looked here, but checkout some of the Corvette forums. That's where I was looking when I was looking for Z06s....I didn't have much luck with Autotrader or Craigslist type searching.

I don't think I'm even close to the right tax bracket to answer this.

stock=no fun. Who needs a warranty anyway. As Dennis 95TA the beast once told me...."if it breaks it means it wasn't built right."

different career choices offer different wages, the choice to involve themselves in outside of work professional societies instead of going home and sitting on the couch, furthering their education, skipping the choice of spending $50,000 on a modded car when they were 20-25, investing all that money in a house and then just using home equity since the home is paid for instead of renting their whole life, and most importantly, LUCK

could be a BAJILLION things, haha.

your best bet is going to be the corvetteforums and then ls1tech is a long shot, but may be posted on there, then to your local chevy dealer that you are friends with to pick you one up at auction, then 6speedonline.com forums is usually for some higher end cars so they might have a zr1 on there.

People just enjoying their money while they still can, before it all disappears! :)

Haha, not hating just amazed on how much we spend on cars. I've paid off all my student loans and I'm halfway done paying off my car. After this it's saving up for a house which seems so very difficult by itself, much less house + $100k car.

that's just the difference between you and someone who is twice your age. Income rises sharper towards the end of your "career" in most cases. Everyone can achieve that. Just depends on what they are willing to sacrifice now to have more later

You'll get there.

Hahaha, that ship has sailed. Though good fiscal decisions in their youth seems to be the common theme among many wealthy people, you'd think more people would pick that up...

Obviously you've never driven one, if this was a run-of-the-mill 300hp f-body or mustang we were talking about I'd understand your post, but this is a "stock" 638hp car...you are on crack.

JC70SS

OK, then what do they dyno to the rear wheels? I am sure my "stock" 10lbs boosted f-body made more rwhp than a ZR1 and that tended to bore me. That is why an F1A is coming next year.

Haha, thanks.

It's funny how that career choice stuff goes...

Mayor Tom Barrett made over $150k last year

Where as the "EVIL" Scott Walker only made $127k as Governor of Wisconsin. Weird how that works.

DO you know a Milwaukee PD Sergeant makes AS MUCH as the Governor of Wisconsin?

Was an interesting article from January 2011 in Milwaukee magazine about incomes of various jobs/people.

Hell the Milwaukee TOW LOT manager makes over $80k a year. So much for "private" sector employees making more for similar jobs. YEAH RIGHT
