I know, I know - Taurus isn't a racecar. Throwing it on here too for giggles.

The time has come to part out the white 1990 racecar project.

1990 SHO - white in color. One owner car from California. Driven to Illinois a few years ago by the original owner. Owner was transferred to Texas and the car stayed in Illinois.

Car does not come with a title. All glass has been removed. Still have original windshield and back window, but I believe both have a crack or two from removal (obviously the plan was to go with Lexan). Doors have been gutted as well.

Cage was completed by a local well-known fabricator (Dennis Equitz Blitzkrieg Motorsport). Mild steel 1 3/4" tubing.

I'll let the pictures explain the cage itself. It's high quality - a lot of research was done before committing to the builder. Any specific questions about it, just ask. Car currently does not have suspension, so it cannot be rolled. If some stock suspension can be provided/found, getting it to be a roller would be no problem.

PRICE: $2500 Includes steering column.

If there is interest in the seats, we can work out a price on those as well.

Other parts from the project will be added to this ad. It will take me a few days to get pictures and a good list of all the parts. Have a lot of the basics - cams, Wavetrac, MTX, built engine, suspension, etc.

Those welds are fucking gorgeous, I love it when a cage is well built. When I crewed for some ITA cars I saw some absolute birdshit welds that I would not have allowed on track.

On a money note what would you want for those seats? I really only need/want one

I'd want to sell both together. I'll send you a price when I put some thought into it.

Grabbed some stuff from the garage today and was reminded that this car is still there. Just bumping it up in case anybody is looking for a silly Spring project. (:
