Behling Circle Track definitely sells it, they are in Butler about 4 blocks from C&S perf, you'd have to look up the address.

I've read nothing but good things on RX7club.com, everyone is using RedLine or Royal Purple

Its for my nv3500 yoosef. The recomended is synchromesh fluid, but I'm trying to see if there's a synthetic that is compatable.

Your owner's manual for your RX-7 should list the GL rating recommended by the manufacturer and the SAE rating(i.e. 75W90). Rule of thumb is if your trans has brass synchros do not use GL-5 rated gear oils(Mobile 1 synthetic gear oil is GL-5). Do not use a GL-5 spec oil or you will damage the synchros, the GL-5 additives are corrosive to the brass synchros.

From the Redline website:
Most manufacturers of manual transmissions and transaxles recommend an 80W or 90W GL-4 lubricant. GL-5 gears oils which are required in hypoid differentials are not used in most synchromesh transmissions because the chemicals used to provide the extreme pressure protection can be corrosive to synchronizers, which are commonly made of brass or bronze. Typically, the use of a GL-5 lubricant in a synchromesh transmission will shorten the synchronizer life by one half.

C & S(Bulter): Redline (http://www.redlineoil.com/products_gearlubricants.asp?subcatID=20&prodID=60) $7.95/qt IIRC
Pegasus(New Berlin):Redline
Borchardt's(27th & College): stocks Royal Purple Max-Gear (http://www.royalpurple.com/prodsa/mgeara.html)
Farm & Fleet-Waukesha: carries Synchromesh (http://www.pennzoil.com/products/gear_oil/syncro_fluid.html)

EDIT: fixed the "more info" link

For those using Redline Shockproof in the OEM transmissions.

A few years back I asked Redline via email about using Shockproof in synchro'ed manual transmissions, their reply:

We don't recommend the ShockProof gear oils in most street applications for a few reasons. They are very unique products and well suited to some specific applications including dog ring transmission/transaxles, differentials and separate motorcycle transmissions. The ShockProof is not ideally suited to street use as it can be too slippery for the synchros in a manual transmission/transaxle but not slippery enough to reduce chatter in a clutch type limited slip. The low temperature/cold flow characteristics due to the unique composition is better with some of our other gear lubes than with the ShockProof products. Also due to their unique appearance would not be advised in vehicles still under warranty.

In a Mitsubishi transaxle and transfer case I would recommend a blend of MTL and MT-90, about equal parts. This will offer very good all around shiftability and protection.
